I bought the Apertura Losmandy 14” to replace the original 11 3/4” Vixen mounting bar which came with my Orion EON-130 for being too short, making a good balance impossible to reach. It didn’t disappoint! Its sturdy construction is impressive, and the extra length gave me the sweet spot for the perfect balance. The printed scale on the side s aves a lot of time for next sessions! I also feel that my 22 lb scope is more secure in the mount with the Losmandy style. I just wish I have got it earlier.
