The Peltor ProTac 3 (classic or slim version) is equipped with attenuating foams and fastening bases. These are so-called consumable elements, with using the headset the foams are no longer as efficient because of sweat and wherever the hearing protection is stored (dust etc.) To maintain a good level of attenuation it is necessary to change the headset foams (approximately once per year depending on use).
