The LAUNCHXL-F28379D LaunchPad™ Development Kit is a cost-effective and feature-rich evaluation platform designed to accelerate the development of real-time control applications using Texas Instruments’ TMS320F2837xD, TMS320F2837xS, and TMS320F2807x series of microcontrollers. Part of the popular TI MCU LaunchPad™ ecosystem, this board is tailored for developers working on industrial, automotive, and power electronics projects that demand high performance, precision control, and scalability. This LaunchPad stands out with its dual BoosterPack™ plug-in module connectors, enabling simultaneous expansion with multiple peripherals. Developers can easily integrate components such as motor control modules, display units, communication interfaces, and analog sensing BoosterPacks, making it ideal for rapid prototyping and system design. At its core is the C2000™ Delfino™ TMS320F28379D MCU, a powerful 32-bit dual-core floating-point microcontroller built around the ARM Cortex-M4F architecture. This MCU includes multiple high-speed ADCs, enhanced PWM modules, trigonometric math units (TMU), FPU, and Control Law Accelerator (CLA)—making it perfectly suited for high-precision motor control, digital power conversion, renewable energy systems, and industrial automation. The kit features on-board XDS100v2 JTAG emulator, allowing real-time debugging and flashing without needing additional hardware. It also provides USB power and connectivity, enabling seamless development in Code Composer Studio™ and other TI-supported IDEs. Whether you are a beginner or an experienced engineer, the LAUNCHXL-F28379D provides an intuitive and powerful platform to bring your high-performance embedded control systems to life. It’s an excellent tool for learning, experimenting, and deploying real-time embedded applications with industry-grade microcontrollers. For Datasheet click Here.
